1. Acceptance of the Terms

By downloading, installing or using the maribell desktop or mobile applications (hereinafter, "the App" or "the Apps"), as well as by accessing the maribell.es website (hereinafter, "the Website"), you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any of them, please do not use the Apps or the Website.

In case of discrepancies between the language versions of these terms (Spanish, Catalan and English), the Spanish version shall prevail.

2. User registration

To use the Apps you must create an account by providing a valid email address and a password. The mobile application also allows sign-in with Google or Apple (OAuth), from which only the email address and a unique identifier are received. This account lets you sync your data across devices and keep your information safe.

The minimum age to register is 14 years, in accordance with article 7 of the Spanish LOPDGDD (Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights). Parental supervision is recommended for minors.

3. Purpose of maribell

maribell is a set of free applications (desktop and mobile) that let you:

• Track prices and availability of products in online stores you add.
• Set price and availability alerts.
• View the price history of tracked products.
• Compare prices between different stores using product groups.
• Receive push notifications on mobile when a product changes price or availability.

maribell does not sell products or services. It provides links to third-party online stores so you can make your purchases directly with them.

4. Permitted use

The Apps and the Website are intended for personal, non-commercial use. The following is prohibited:

• Using the Apps or the Website for illegal, deceptive or harmful purposes.
• Redistributing, modifying or decompiling the Apps.
• Using the Apps in an automated way for purposes other than intended.

5. Intellectual property and third-party content

Descriptions, images, logos and prices of the products shown by maribell belong to the corresponding online stores. maribell shows them only as informational reference and is not responsible for their accuracy.

The maribell name, logo and design are property of the project.

6. Referral links and third-party sites

Some links inside the App may contain referral codes (affiliate links). If you make a purchase through these links, maribell may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.

maribell is not responsible for the quality, price, availability or delivery of third-party products. Any claim should be addressed to the corresponding store.

7. How the Apps work

The desktop application runs locally on your computer and is the one that queries prices and availability on the public pages of the products you have added. For prices to update, the desktop application must be open. If you close it or turn off your computer, no scans are performed until you reopen it.

The mobile application does not query the stores. It receives push notifications when the desktop application detects a relevant change in a product you track, and lets you consult your lists and the synchronised history.

Data is stored locally on your device (SQLite database on desktop, encrypted cache on mobile) and synchronised with the cloud to guarantee its availability across devices.

8. Disclaimer of liability

• maribell does not guarantee the accuracy of price, offer or availability data, since it comes from external sources.
• Uninterrupted availability of the Apps or the cloud synchronisation is not guaranteed.
• No liability is assumed for damages arising from the use or inability to use the Apps.
• Automatic updates may modify how the Apps work. The portable version of the desktop application does not update automatically.

9. Modifications and termination of the service

maribell reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Apps and the Website at any time, as well as to update these Terms and Conditions. Changes will be published on this page and will be effective from their publication.

Continued use of the Apps or the Website after changes are published implies acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Palma de Mallorca (Spain).
